DETROIT, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/22/06 -- JetPay Merchant Services, LLC, an affiliate of Dallas-based payments services company JetPay, LLC, and the nation's leading provider of the JetPay(TM) suite of payment transaction processing solutions, today announced the availability of a JetPay-certified payments processing module for the MIVA Merchant e-commerce solution.
JetPay's MIVA Merchant module (v 2.01) enables easy access to JetPay's IP-based authorization network for real-time credit card processing and provides middle-market ecommerce payment acceptors a simple yet powerful payments integration alternative with fewer moving parts than traditional "big box" service providers.
"The availability of the JetPay module adds a meaningful payments component in the online store space," said David L. Tepoorten, president of JetPay Merchant Services, LLC. "MIVA merchants will now be able to access all JetPay system features, including both Visa's 'Verified by Visa' and MasterCard's 'SecureCode' payer authentication services."
"JetPay is always investigating new technologies that will improve our product offering for Internet retailers. Our new MIVA module puts a strong value-add in the hands of the merchant and web-hosting communities, and delivers real opportunities to further mitigate the administrative tasks, risks and expense associated with online credit card sales."
