DedicatedCentral today announced its launch, providing the premium-value dedicated server market with highly competitive pricing, deliver unexpected levels of high-touch customer support, and assure core "zero-tolerance" Internet security.
"We aim to be the premier dedicated server provider to mid-sized and small enterprises," said Ho Lee, general manager of DedicatedCentral. "Our combination of aggressive hardware and bandwidth pricing, along with our focus on security-related software puts DedicatedCentral a step ahead of the competition."
DedicatedCentral operates from company-owned data centers in Chicago, Tampa, Austin and Vancouver, BC.
With service packages starting at $149 a month, DedicatedCentral provides customers with several exclusive features. DC Spam Filter and Sentry Firewall eliminate Spam and viruses from dedicated servers. ServerWatch provides around-the-clock server and network monitoring/alerting so that DedicatedCentral-hosted devices are always up and running. DedicatedCentral's Remote Reboot feature allows customers to login to CommandCentral and restart unresponsive servers.
DedicatedCentral's managed backup service enables customers to store all data files in a separate centralized backup server to reduce the risk of losing data. In addition, DedicatedCentral offers several managed server applications, including ColdFusion, MSSQL, Miva Ecommerce, Urchin, Plesk and WorkgroupMail.
All options of server hardware feature Dell PowerEdge technology and come with Sentry Firewall, DC Spam Filter, ServerWatch Basic (monitoring and alerting), network intrusion detection, automatic remote reboot, centralized backup storage, Plesk and Urchin web applications, 2,000 GB bandwidth, and 5 IP addresses. Two standard service packages "DC-Standard and DC-Ultra" offer various feature and service combinations appropriate for the small enterprise. Supported computing environments include Fedora Linux, RedHat ES and Windows 2003.
"DedicatedCentral promises our customers to provide the maximum server and data protection available," said Lee, "as well as the most reliable and technologically sound support in the industry, and a full range of managed services to help our customers? businesses grow."
